I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Danielle and Martin’s Marbella wedding this past July. Danielle and Martin chose to say their vows at a stunning cathedral in the heart of old town Marbella called La Encarnación. The reception that followed took place at Finca La Concepcion, a property that hosts an abandoned foundry. The villa itself is spectacular with gorgeous views of Sierra Blanca. Danielle and Martin contacted us after we shot Danielle’s sister’s wedding in the Algarve the previous summer. They were getting married on almost the exact same date as her sister before them. It was such an honor to be able to document another love story for this family. It was amazing to see, not only our past bride and groom but the whole family as well as many of the same guests. The joy and excitement that exuded from Martin was completely contagious. In his own words, he was “the cat that got the cream”. It was so special to see just how much he completely adored Danielle. That sentiment and emotion transcended the entire day.
Danielle chose to wear an incredible couture Inbal Dror blush gown. Her bridesmaids wore white complemented by white florals and lush greenery. The Groom and groomsmen were dressed in navy with matching boutonnieres. They added several unique touches to the decor plan all of which nodded to Danielle’s creativity. Guests enjoyed a Morrocan themed hookah bar, Cigar bar, and sweet station. They opted for an al fresco dinner that passed into the late evening so guests were able to dine under the stars. Danielle and Martin shared their first dance as husband and wife with their guests gathered around them. The evening was full of laughter and joyful celebration. Danielle and Martin, we wish you all the happiness in the world. Thank you for having us photograph your beautiful wedding.
