This Spanish vineyard wedding was certainly a beauty but beyond its beautiful details it was such a celebration. I was honored to be a part of the union between Catalina and Raul. I first met Cata when living in Barcelona in my early twenties. She is one of the most inspiring people, always creating and pushing the limits. Raul is her perfect counterpart, he is an architect and together they are a creative force! Raul and Cata have been together for 10 years this august. I was so happy to have been able to photograph their engagement last summer in Barcelona where they live.
Relationships like this have become some of my absolute favorite weddings to document. The history they share is always so touching and the weddings can’t help but be full of sentiment. There is just so much shared by these couples who have taken time to enjoy every step of their relationship which makes documenting the culmination of all those years so special. I have never seen Raul so happy. Raul and Cata quietly got ready in separate rooms before heading to Cellers Avgvstvs Forvm, A beautiful vineyard, for their ceremony. The morning was refreshingly calm. The ceremony was incredible and the dancing was something else altogether. Cata is Colombian and lets just say they really know how to dance. They put my moves to absolute shame. Their wedding was everything I imagined it to be and I’m so pleased to share these memories of such a beautiful day.
Cata and Raul I am so happy for you and I know you will share many years of happiness together. Besos until the next time I see you and one final massive Congratulations!
