This Destination Wedding at a private estate in Portugal was one for the books. Each detail was carefully thought out and planned to perfection by Mikheila, our bride. Mikheila is an architect living in Australia. Having grown up in Portugal She traveled back with Fiancé Kym to get married. Half of the guests traveled from Australia as well, so you can imagine how many air miles this wedding brought in. Mikheila had her dress custom made from a designer in Australia. The details on the dress were absolutely divine and if you’re interested in having a look you can find them here.  Mikheila and Kym choose a private estate for their venue that overlooked the Santa Barbara Valley. The views alone were breathtaking. Guests were treated to such views during both the ceremony and reception. Mikheila prepared alongside her bridesmaids in her parents home next to the venue. The morning was full of anticipation and excitement over the day ahead. The bridesmaids wore matching robes, a gift from Mikheila. When the time came for the gown to be put on- everyone was in awe. Mikheila looked like an absolute vision in her perfectly fitted wedding dress. I think we all tried not to cry when Mikheila read a letter from Kym just minutes before walking down the aisle. Kym and Mikheila said their vows in front of their loved ones and under a floral adorned arch. The reception was adorned with gorgeous florals. A frame was constructed around the head table covered in flowers and Edison bulbs. Lights were beautifully strung creating the most romantic atmosphere. The night was spent dining, drinking champagne and dancing until the sun came up. Congratulations Mikky & Kym and cheers to a beautiful future!
